Présentation

FR

My research examines human rights and international labour standards with a focus on health and safety at work in the global political economy. My interests include the global governance of work and the contested values that shape labour and employment relations. I follow policy developments and theoretical debates concerning international human rights as they relate to labour rights and working conditions. The relationship between human rights at work and the capitalist political economy is a concern highlighted in my research. I see the regulation of industrial relations as an international project in historical perspective, making industrial relations theory of particular interest. Using mostly document-based research methods I have written on global issues and concerns in labour relations including the right to refuse unsafe work, trade union rights, work injury compensation, mine safety, and similar topics.
